Basically it's been roughly a year since I am now in the UK. A year and 3 month nearly...
I am happy and unhappy. Unhappy because the job I have currently is not the one I'd like to have. It's a lot of work for not that much pay and a lot, a lot of work, and the Xmas season in retail is just ghastly to tell you the truth. Unhappy because I have to leave a flat I love, because of problems with my flatmate, and also it is way too small, and my room is ultra cold because the window is rotten.
I am happy because I live in a lovely area that I have grown to love, and I am a proud owner of a local card that shouts my love for this area. I am happy to still be in this flat. I am happy because I managed to do DIY on my window and it is now warmer in my room and not the North Pole.
I am happy because I met the most wonderful people ever that I am fortunate enough to call my friends, because I discovered new things that enriched me, and because my english level has skyrocketed. I am happy because I am now the "owner" of a lovely posh and extremely british accent with only a small hint of french.
I am happy even if I move from my flat because I could discover other areas that I may love as much.
I am happy because I am soon to start a new blog that will talk about my life, but mainly visual arts and literature, and in wich I intend to express myself fully.
I am happy because this city inspires my photography, my people inspire my photography.
And to finish and above all, I am happy because I am where I've always wanted to be.
What about you? What makes you happy or unhappy?
(For those who want I am on facebook,if you want to follow my adventures, i have a photo album called "1st year in England" www.facebook.com/profile.php?i…)

Oh well...
Oh well I have been in London for about 8 months now. And I do feel the urge of change coming on to me.Change of job, change of mind, change everything really. The problem with London is that it's so bloody expensive. I'm having more and more troubles to pay my rent and that worries me immensely. But I do not despair and try to stay as optimistic as possible.
It does me good actually, so I'm pretty happy about it.
The last question is should I move back to Surrey or not? impossible to answer that question now but eventually it'll answer on its own :)
Photography is going on pretty well, I'm taking courses and try to arrange photoshoots wit
Teh Change!!
Yes, so it worked. I passed the test and I'm now on my way to the UK.
In a few days i'll be over there, and I'll start my job as a brand new english Lushie in London!!
I must say this is a very stressful situation, but a very exciting thing at the same time. It's always such an experience to live in another country. And this is the change of a lifetime since I really want to settle down over there.
So, until next time...
London calling :D
Summertime
Yes it's summertime, the weather is so hot here that we all think we're going to melt *melts*
I'm trying to take some time off and thinking about my plans for the near future. I applied for a job in Lush UK to replace the one I currently have in Lush France and I'm having a trial shift soon. Then if everything is fine, I'll move and new life in London !!! :faint: Maybe i'll become a real Brit ^^
I'm trying to take as many pics as possible, but it's difficult to choose wich ones belong here. I try to take the most of Paris too, in case I have to move to London, so I can get nice pictures of the town as well. There are also many exhibitions i
And one more time...
Birthdays are like Christmas. It's a bit like a sneeze too, you wait for it, you wait for it and again and again, then it's away in a second
Well anyways, my birthday was pretty cool I must say, I had really nice gifts :)
Being 30 is really good too in a way, since I feel so much better than when I was 20. The only thing is that when I was 20 I was living in England, it's the only thing that I do'nt have now...yet. :evillaugh:
Anyways, it's always good to feel this well needed maturity really settling down ((at least that's what I feel, I've done som any stupid things when I was younger)
The trip to Amsterdam was really nice and won
